Genesis High-Phos Organic Landscape Fertilizer & Soil Conditioner Genesis is an alfalfa and cottonseed meal based organic fertilizer manufactured in Colorado for the soils and climate of the Rocky Mountain States. It is specifically formulated to meet Colorado State University Extension recommendations for new landscape installations for greater transplant and seeding survivability and plant health. The plant nutrients are compressed into the alfalfa plant fibers, providing a timed release organic availability in the plants root zone. This organic bonding extends the nutrient availability in the root zone, thus minimizing the leached loss to the subsoil and ground water. The pH of 6.2 from the organic acids in Genesis counters the carbonate alkalinity of our high calcareous alkaline soils. The Genesis formulation provides a slow steady release of nutrients for the optimum plant growth without the excessive growth that typically follows the application of some chemical fertilizer. Genesis will condition soils and loosen compacted soils, while deepening and strengthening the root system for improved drought tolerance and reduced watering requirements. Ongoing future periodic applications of Alphalawn II can help prevent thatch and resulting disease problems in turfgrass. The exact measurement of the highest quality organic and mineral materials in Genesis guarantees the consistency of its performance. Genesis contains no inert elements, manure, sludge or waste materials. Nutrient Properties A homogenous blend of organic and mineral materials that will provide a nutrient availability for new plantings in a landscape installation. This fertilizer will support the necessary microbial cultures for improved soil structure, soil moisture permeation and retention, and optimum plant growth. Physical Properties A uniformly mixed, steamed and compressed combination of organic and mineral materials in a granular form. Nutrient Analysis
